She holds a Doctor of Professional Studies in Natural Medicine, which underpins her Integrative approach to skin health — combining traditional botanical knowledge with modern Cosmetic science.

Her work is grounded in a deep respect for plant-based systems and their relationship with skin physiology. Over the course of her career, she has developed a philosophy that views skincare not as correction, but as restoration of balance between skin and environment.

This perspective became the foundation of Skinsophy — a skincare philosophy that unites Nordic botanical clarity with Mediterranean vitality.

In the quiet forests of Finland, Skinsophy began as a search for understanding.

Rooted in a deep respect for plants and traditional herbal knowledge, founder Anu Ruohosto dedicated her life to studying the healing relationship between nature and skin.
